The opportunity

Kids Help Phone Foundation is seeking an Associate, Events & Partnership Experience to help inspire generosity and raise funds across Canada to deliver on KHP’s promise to youth.

Reporting to the Manager, Community Events & Partnerships, the successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of fundraising events and partnership activities that help raise critical funds for young people across Canada.

In this exciting opportunity, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable experiences for donors, partners, and participants. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate logistics, support communications, and ensure every event and activation runs smoothly. It’ll take courage, collaboration, innovation, resilience and trust.

The responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, including coordinating logistics, managing registration, and assisting with on-site setup and guest support
  • Help manage sponsor benefits and partnership activities, ensuring a positive experience for corporate and community partners
  • Coordinate volunteers, event materials, and supplies to ensure smooth operations
  • Assist with outreach to community groups and supporters to encourage event participation
  • Help create event communications such as emails, toolkits, and updates for participants and partners
  • Track event-related expenses, maintain accurate records in Raiser’s Edge and other databases, and assist with post-event reporting and thank-you follow-ups
  • Provide general administrative support to the Events & Partnership Experience team

The qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in events, fundraising, marketing, or nonprofit work
  • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office; experience with Raiser’s Edge, Canva, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, or project management software is an asset
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel within Ontario
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset
