Architectural Technologist / Architect (Certified in Canada)
LandSeed is seeking a talented, detail-oriented, and certified Architect (or Architectural Technologist) with proven experience in residential and community planning projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of technical expertise and design creativity, with the ability to deliver concept planning, detailed renderings, and visualization designs for homes and villages.
We are looking for a professional who is not only technically skilled but also passionate about creating functional, aesthetically compelling, and sustainable designs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop concept drawings for residential housing and small-scale master planning.
Prepare technical assemblies and structural components in compliance with Part 9 of the Canadian Building Code.
Produce high-quality 3D renderings, visualizations, and fly-through animations.
Review and interpret existing drawings for modifications and improvements.
Create detailed component drawings for specific technical aspects of residential design.
Collaborate on ideas, costs, and project timelines with clients and team members.
Prepare sketches, models, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Draft plans using CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
Contribute to bidding documents and assist in contract discussions.
Skills & Qualifications
Certified Architect in Canada (or Architectural Technologist with equivalent certification).
Minimum 2 years of postgraduate professional experience.
Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and rendering software.
Strong technical drafting, rendering, and visualization skills.
Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Strong design sense, communication skills, and analytical thinking.
Solid understanding of architectural concepts, materials, lighting, and construction methods.
