About the Role

This volunteer role supports the creation, organization, and expansion of this library by curating content, managing rights and licensing, reviewing Creative Commons materials, and building partnerships with filmmakers and ethical creators.
We are looking for someone passionate about animal welfare and compassionate storytelling — someone who wants to help build a resource that educates, inspires, and empowers people around the world.

- Verify licensing information to ensure all materials can be legally archived and shared.
- Contact filmmakers, creators, and organizations to build partnerships using a revenue-sharing or exposure-based collaboration model.
- Maintain an organized digital film library, categorized by themes such as animal welfare, wildlife protection, factory farming, cultural traditions, veganism, environmental issues, and humane living.
- Prepare metadata such as titles, summaries, keywords, categories, and credits.
- Develop curated playlists, collections, or thematic sections within the library.
- Assist with sourcing original or creator-approved film files in the highest available quality.
- Track approvals, agreements, and collaboration details with creators.
- Support long-term expansion of the library by discovering new filmmakers and ethical media sources.
Skills & Qualifications
- Passion for animal rights, veganism, or humane education.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate or learn Creative Commons licensing and usage rights.
- Good writing skills for summaries and metadata.
