Afghan Program Volunteer

For over 26 years, Wellwood Cancer Resource Centre’s Afghan Program has shared warmth, care, and compassion—distributing more than 30,000 hand-knit and crocheted afghans to individuals and families affected by cancer.

To keep this meaningful program going, we are looking for volunteers who can knit or crochet full afghans from home. Every stitch becomes a tangible reminder that someone cares during a very difficult time.

If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and would like your work to make a lasting difference, we would love to hear from you. Your time, talent, and generosity help ensure this cherished program continues for years to come.
