The Advancement and communications coordinator for the Message to All Nations (MAN) will be reporting to the President’s Office of Message to All Nations.

Job Overview:

Message to All Nations is seeking an energetic and creative Advancement and communications coordinator to help deliver our external communications strategies for the overall organization.
The Advancement and Communications coordinator will be accountable for supporting the delivery of our communications strategies, with a strong focus on external communications to our partners and generating new partners. This is a great role for a compelling storyteller, who is passionate about serving Jesus and expanding His Kingdom.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Support – President’s Office

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the President’s Office.
  • Manage the President’s commitments, communications, and calendar at an executive level, in close coordination with the Executive Assistant.
  • Act as a liaison between the President’s Office and various MAN departments, with particular coordination across non-MENA regions.
  • Coordinate and prepare for high-level and priority meetings, including agendas, follow-ups, and required documentation.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the President’s Office and effective execution of presidential priorities.

Communications

  • Support the development and distribution of internal and external communications, including newsletters and email updates.
  • Assist in drafting and coordinating key messages and announcements.
  • Contribute to website and brand-related content.
  • Support the production of booklets, brochures, and other communication materials.
  • Maintain and strengthen personal and professional stakeholder connections.

Development & Fundraising

  • Support communication and relationship management with churches, individuals, and foundations.
  • Assist in identifying and exploring new funding opportunities and foundations.
  • Support grant development and advancement efforts in the USA, UK, Canada, and globally.
  • Assist in organizing fundraising events, galas, and donor engagement activities.

Network Development

  • Support the President in establishing and expanding the Development Department.
  • Assist in building, organizing, and growing the development and fundraising network.
  • Assist with the writing, editing and formatting of acknowledgments, quarterly updates, reports, newsletters, and other development materials.
  • Initiate and manage fundraising campaigns
  • Assist in grant research, writing, and tracking
  • Manage the timely acknowledgment of gifts once processed by MAN bookkeeping
  • Collaborate with various departments to plan special church and prospective partner events
  • Manage and effectively utilize the donor tracking database (CRM) through the entry, advanced reports, and integrated communication options for individual donors, church partners and foundations
  • Enter donor meeting notes into CRM
  • Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry and ongoing clean-up efforts
  • Assist users of CRM organization wide
  • Coordinate with the Team on the ground to report with short stories.
  • Other related job requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Devotion to Christ and attested Spiritual Maturity.
  • A heart for spreading the gospel and making disciples.
  • Adherence to conservative Christian beliefs.
  • Commitment to Biblically rooted evangelism.
  • Strong command of the English language, written and spoken.
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree (English literature, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field etc.).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in communication in a nonprofit or Christian organization.
  • Relevant experience in Fundraising and development is a plus.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Open and teachable.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. Proficient linguistic skills.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of donor information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; experience with donor databases and design software a plus
  • Proficient in dealing with CRM
  • Experience with grant application, reporting, and different CRMs.
  • Second language skills of Arabic or French will be appreciated yet not required.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to test, accept, and learn from pilots.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of social KPIs, measurement and attribution models for social
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, complex, yet dynamic work environment and able to multitask on a variety of different projects with strong project management skills.
  • Organized and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail and a hunger to contribute

Nature and Scope:

  • Full-Time (remote-Canada-based), preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Expected 40 hours weekly.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, location, and experience.
