
Administrative Worship Support, Part-time
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Administrative Worship Support member to join our team. This role works with our worship team to prepare weekly service bulletins, audio-visual materials to support and deliver dynamic and meaningful worship services to our community of faith.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with worship team to prepare weekly service bulletin and audio-visual materials for worship services
- Post weekly preservice content to website
- Coordinate content for weekly e-newsletter using Fairlawn’s Greetings! Guidelines
- Service notification and/or special announcements via email platform
- Assist the Digital Content team on Sundays as needed
- Operate PowerPoint presentation during Sunday worship services
- Ad hoc assignments and administrative tasks relating to worship services as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint), Canva, MailChimp and WordPress
- Complete and provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Working with volunteers is an asset.
Working Conditions
- Requires training for 3 consecutive weekdays (dates – tbd)
- Attendance every Sunday and for special worship services
- Attendance every Monday (day of the week is negotiable)
- This role does not offer remote work
Remuneration
$18-20/hour based on skills and experience. There will be a six-month probationary period.
