Position Title: Administrative and Data Entry Volunteer
Weekly Hours: At least 20 hours per week
Shift: Afternoon – Monday to Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Location: The Career Foundation, Scarborough Hub, located at 2437 Kingston Road
Reports to: Area Manager, Employment and Placement Services
Background Check:
An offer of employment for this opportunity will be contingent on the incumbent providing an acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients at the front desk
- Provide guidance in the resource area (computers, brochures, etc.)
- Assist clients with printing, photocopying, and basic computer use
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Support staff with general administrative tasks as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized reception and resource area
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, printing)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous administrative or customer service experience is an asset
