BC EPILEPSY SOCIETY JOB DESCRIPTION

Salary Range: CAD $25/hr. – CAD $30/hr.

As an Admin Support Coordinator with the BC Epilepsy Society, you will provide crucial clerical and organizational support, handle communications (phones, emails, mail), prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations, coordinate meetings, and assist staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with bookkeeping courses, preferred or a combination or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience working in a health non-profit setting is an asset Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organization, time management, communication (written & verbal), attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in office software – Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Jane, Sumac, Hootsuite, Canva and Quickbooks are ideal
  • Knowledge of counselling skills is an asset
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques is an asset
  • Understanding of chronic conditions, in particular, epilepsy and functional seizures is a strong asset
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
