2026 Speech Contest Event Planning Volunteer

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Speech Contest Event Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community and making an impact.

The Speech Contest Event Volunteer is responsible for:
- Building excitement amongst the participants
- Working in a team to ensure that the event runs smoothly
- Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone
- Arriving to the event on time
