Unpaid Volunteer Position

MS Bike - Hinton is back on Saturday, September 12th, and Sunday, September 13th, 2026! The ride begins and ends at Hinton Centre (965 Switzer Dr, Hinton, AB T7V 1V1), with several rest stops along the way.

MS Bike is a two-day cycling event where every kilometer ridden helps raise funds and awareness for the 90,000 Canadians living with multiple sclerosis (MS). By volunteering, you'll play a crucial role in making this event a success while having fun, meeting new people, and supporting those affected by MS.

Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles to help ensure a smooth event and provide an exceptional experience for cyclists:

  • Event set up/wrap up
  • Participant Check-In
  • Rest Stop Support
  • Bike Marshals
  • Bartenders
  • And many more!

Interested? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Energizing and positive attitude. A friendly face helps create a fun atmosphere!
  • Passion for supporting community-driven fundraising events.
  • Work well as part of team.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to fulfill duties in a safe and timely manner.

Time Commitment:

  • Be available to volunteer in person on Friday, September 11th (Event Set-Up), Saturday, September 12th, and/or Sunday, September 13th, for 3‐8 hours depending on your shift and commitment desire.

Support & Resources Provided by MS Canada:

  • Orientation with event overview and specific volunteer role information.
  • Ongoing connection to the Volunteer team, with training and support on an as-needed basis leading up to event day.
