Unpaid Volunteer Position

The 2026 Halifax MS Walk is taking place Sunday, May 31st at 2:00 PM at Acadia Park. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us bring this event to life! As one of our floater volunteers, you will play a crucial role in the event by helping wherever you're needed most, and ensuring that all elements are in place for a successful event.

MS Walk is a one-day event held at over 50 locations across Canada, bringing together people impacted by multiple sclerosis.

On May 31st, gather your friends, family, or team for a day of meaningful action. There are various areas where volunteer help is needed to ensure that this event runs smoothly and participants have a great experience.

Volunteer opportunities could include:

  • Help set up and/or tear down tents, tables, chairs, banners & signs
  • Decorate and tidy the site
  • Entertain children at the Kids Zone
  • Hand out food and beverages
  • Other duties as needed
  • Start/Finish Line Cheer Squad
