2025 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon - Course Marshals

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist at theTCS Toronto Waterfront Marathonin support of 150 local charities through the TCS Charity Challenge!

We are looking to fill the exciting and challenging role of Course Marshal! Please note, Course Marshals must be 18+.

Course Marshals will be responsible for cheering on and directing participants on the course, stopping or redirecting motorists, working in cooperation with the Toronto Police, maintaining safety on the course by warning participants of potential hazards, and communicating with the public when necessary.

The ideal volunteer for this position is enthusiastic and cheerful, comfortable communicating with the public, and confident in stressful situations.
