1:1 Study Buddy
One hour a week from you. A whole new outlook for them.
Imagine being the reason a kid goes from dreading school to actually believing in themselves. As a Study Buddy mentor, you'll meet one-on-one weekly with a girl or gender-diverse youth (ages 7-17) to work through schoolwork, set goals, and build the confidence that sticks with them for life.
"Volunteering with Big Sisters as a Study Buddy for 5 years was very fulfilling as I was helping a young girl in a way I would have wanted to be helped during the tough times at school." — Study Buddy Jessica

- A sense of accomplishment watching someone build confidence, believe in themselves, and feel excited about learning
- A dedicated caseworker by your side from start to finish, checking in at key moments
- A community of fellow mentors, events & workshops to keep you growing

- 1 hour per week
- Minimum 6 months
- 1:1, tailored to your mentee’s grade and goals
