About us
Save Your Skin Foundation (SYSF) is a patient-led organization dedicated to the fight against non-melanoma skin cancers, melanoma, and ocular melanoma through education, advocacy, and awareness initiatives across Canada. SYSF provides a community of oncology patient and caregiver support throughout the entire continuum of care, from prevention and diagnosis to survivorship.
As a patient led organization, we pride ourselves in putting patients first and consulting them at every step of the way, allowing their input to inform the work we do. Our team is made up of survivors of melanoma, experts formally working in the pharmaceutical industry and communications specialists. Our vision for a Canada where skin cancer is prevented, survived and cured inspires our initiatives.
