About us
Safe at Home Society's mission is to end and prevent homelessnessness through the provision of a coordinated, intentional, and person-centered continuum of housing and supports for individuals who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
Safe at Home Society (SAHS) registered as a non-profit organization in November 2020 and has grown quickly, responding to community needs as they have evolved. SAHS work is represented by 4 branches: 1) stewarding the coordinated access system; 2) supporting community education and planning around the ongoing reponse to homelessness; 3) direct frontline and outreach-based supports for individuals who are precariously housed and/or experiencing homelessness; and 4) direct housing provision.
