RISC Foundation

RISC Foundation is a Canadian non-profit corporation established for the following public-benefit purposes:

1. to advance education for the benefit of the public by providing and supporting, independently or in partnership, structured educational programs, courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, simulations, experiential and work-integrated learning opportunities, and educational resources concerning risk management, insurance, individual and community resilience, and related fields;
2. to advance education for the benefit of the public by conducting and supporting, independently or in partnership, research in risk management, insurance, individual and community resilience, and related fields, and by making the useful results of that research available to the public;
3. to advance education for the benefit of the public by providing scholarships, bursaries, academic awards, research prizes, and experiential and work-integrated learning opportunities to eligible students and other learners in risk management, insurance, individual and community resilience, and related fields; and
4. to undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the foregoing purposes.
