About us
Ripple Foundation is a 100% volunteer-run educational charity in Canada dedicated to fostering creative literacy among children and youth. We empower young minds through free, engaging programs by nurturing creativity, confidence, and critical thinking skills. Our key initiatives include:
- Kids Write 4 Kids: A nationwide creative writing contest for students in grades 4-8, where winning stories are published, and proceeds from book sales support the winners' chosen charities.
- Write It Workshops: Interactive sessions designed to develop writing skills in students from grades 4-8, focusing on storytelling, character development, and plot structure.
- Wave Blog: A platform for students in grades 8-12 to express their opinions and experiences while earning volunteer hours.
- Express Inspire Connect: A youth-led virtual conference for students in grades 8-12, promoting leadership, idea-sharing, and networking opportunities.
Ripple Foundation’s programs are free and designed to foster literacy, philanthropy, and leadership, while ensuring educational equity for all children, regardless of their background.
