The Reading Partnership

The Reading Partnership (TRP) is a registered Canadian charity with a mission to create and deliver literacy-focused programs and resources that empower children in the early years, and their families, to be successful at all stages of life. Originally developed in the Kingston-Galloway Orton Park community in the GTA, our programs are now scaling nationally.

We believe that communities are responsible for their children’s success. We partner with key stakeholders like schools, educators, community groups, organizations, businesses, and parents/caregivers to become part of the solution as we work towards sustainable literacy rates in the communities that need them the most. Our vision is that every child in every community receives the early support they need to learn to write and read so that they can reach their full potential and succeed in school, work, and life.
