About us
Community-powered conservation in Toronto. Help us safeguard our ravines: research, outreach, events.
The Protect Our Ravine Initiative is a volunteer-led, non-partisan community group in Toronto, focusing on safeguarding the City's ravines and their surrounding natural heritage. We mobilize residents, coordinate research and outreach, and work constructively with planners, conservation authorities, and elected officials to ensure development decisions respect ecological integrity and community safety.
How you can help:
Volunteer in community outreach, research & records, comms/social, events support, or media & stakeholder engagement. Training and plug-and-play toolkits provided—great for students, neighbours, and anyone who cares about urban nature.
