About us
Pride Stables, (formally: Central Ontario Developmental Riding Program (CODRP)) offers therapeutic horseback riding to people with disabilities. We were established in 1973 and have been operating from our current location in the south end of Kitchener Ontario since 1988.
Our mission is to provide a safe, high quality riding program for persons with disabilities. The program fosters personal growth and improvement through the use of horses as a medium for development and therapy, with the assistance of volunteers. Each year over 350 children and adults with disabilities from the surrounding region participate in our programs. We are also proud to offer a fully integrated day camp program for riders with and without disabilities each summer.
