About us
Macaulay Centres for Children (MCC) has dedicated almost 90 years to nurturing children and families. Established in 1932, MCDC was founded in the home of Hazel Macaulay who began providing care for children in need. With our roots in early learning and family support, we know firsthand the diverse and complex needs of today’s children. We believe that children thrive in strong families, classrooms and communities. Our mosaic of programs and services put this belief into action to enrich the lives of over 7,000 children each year, including those at risk due to extra support needs, poverty and neighborhood violence. As a multi-service organization, our services range from offering childcare services, parent services, specialized children services and place based services within the community.
