Kohai Educational Centre/ Kohai LIFE

We are a charity whose roots go back to 1973. For nearly five decades, Kohai has responded to the need in our community for high quality educational programming and life skills training. Serving the city’s special needs population, we deliver full time programming year-round and offer needs-based bursary opportunities.

Our in-person day programme is designed for individuals 18+ years of age. In small, friendly groups our participants practise functional academics, life skills and social skills with a range of activities organized at our centre and out in the community. All sessions and work placements are led by qualified members of our fantastic team who are passionate about working with adults with special needs.

Our Midtown Toronto location is just a short walk from Davisville subway, fantastic parks, athletic facilities and entertainment options. Our programming is based locally and supported by our community partners.
