About us
Food Stash Foundation is a registered Canadian charity founded in 2016 with the two fold mission to reduce the environmental impact of food waste and bridge the food insecurity gap within our community. We do so by rescuing surplus perishable food directly from suppliers and redistributing it to charities and households in our community that experience food insecurity through various delivery-based programs. Whether it is through our Rescued Food Box Program—delivering weekly food boxes right to the doorsteps of our members—or through our partnerships with other local non-profit food security programs that receive surplus food, we are on a mission to feed people and waste less food.
