Flamborough Connects brings people and resources together. We link individuals and community agencies with each other by coordinating information, volunteer, youth and senior support services in community. FC actively engages and promotes community by sharing knowledge, experience and expertise across every sector. Whether the need is to ensure isolated, rural seniors have access to transportation, young families have access to free income tax preparation, refunds and benefits, or local youth are supported with resources and services to help them find their path, FC facilitates and connects.
FC is a trusted community leader serving the Greater Hamilton area for over 40 years. 2019 highlights include the launch of the New Horizon’s for Seniors Flamborough Isolated Rural Seniors Support Services Program; the Enabling Accessibility Fund Access to Connections Project; the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s What’s Your Path Flamborough Youth Hub Project, and the Hamilton Community Foundation’s Hamilton Rural Seniors Grocery Bus Project.
Flamborough Connects adapts to the needs of a growing mix of agricultural, rural and small urban communities by listening to the needs of residents and collaborating with partner agencies, organizations, institutions and government.
