About us
The Centre for Treatment of Sexual Abuse and Childhood Trauma is a community-based, incorporated, registered charity which provides specialized and accessible psychotherapy and counselling; offers professional training and education; and promotes public awareness in the areas of trauma and recovery.
The Centre was established in 1992 to provide individual, family and couples therapy for those who have been sexually abused or otherwise traumatized or stressed by life experiences. Since then, the Centre has grown to become a major provider of trauma-centered services in the National Capital Region.
CTSACT strives to enhance the health and well being of all people and our broader community through responsible and effective programs in education, research and advocacy, and counselling. After 30 years in the community, CTSACT has become a strong foundation in the service delivery, and a leader in the field of trauma.
