Our Mission
Providing children and adults with a fun, immersive and safe learning environment while being a national model for environmental sustainability, education, and capacity building through immersive and meaningful programs in nature.
About Us
The Bluewater Education Foundation (BEF) is a not-for-profit organization that works in arms length with the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre (OEC). The BEF is run by a board of directors.
We manage facility rentals and usage for the site, as well as long-range planning to allow greater use and access to nature. We also manage fundraising for the site to help expand our mission.
The BEF runs events, summer camp and programming on-site, in the summer and outside school hours; as well as programming and rentals for community members and guests.
