About us
The Avalon Sexual Assault Centre is a feminist organization working to eliminate sexual assault/abuse, and to change the current socio-political culture that fosters sexism, social injustice and other forms of oppression. Avalon has been supporting survivors of sexualized violence since 1984. Its therapeutic counselling, sexual assault nurse examiner service, navigation, advocacy and education services are vital to creating communities free from sexualized violence and abuse.
