About us
Ancestral Hands Midwives (AHM) is an expanded midwifery care model program dedicated to providing culturally appropriate and community-centered perinatal care to Black families in Scarborough, Ontario, and beyond. A not-for-profit organization founded with a mission to address maternal health disparities affecting the Black community through midwife-led care, AHM strives to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes while fostering a supportive environment for clients, healthcare providers, and community members.
