ADIFEVEA World

ADIFEVEA World (Integral Development Action for Widow, Abandonned Child and Youth) is a non-profit humanitarian and development organization dedicated to improving the living conditions of marginalized and vulnerable populations. Operating primarily in the Democratic Republic of Congo and expanding across other regions, the organization promotes social justice, the rights of women and girls, environmental governance, and inclusive, sustainable development.

At the heart of ADIFEVEA World’s approach is a strong commitment to human rights, dignity, and community resilience. The organization places disadvantaged populations at the center of its interventions, ensuring that programs are designed with and for the communities they serve. Over the past decade, ADIFEVEA World has reached more than 10,000 beneficiaries across 15+ communities, delivering impactful and integrated programs in healthcare, education, social protection, gender equality, and youth leadership. Its interventions are grounded in evidence-based strategies and adapted to local realities, ensuring relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability.

In the health sector, the organization improves access to essential services for widows, orphans, and underserved populations, while addressing maternal and child health challenges. In education, it promotes access to quality learning opportunities, recognizing education as a key driver of empowerment and long-term transformation.

Gender equality is a central pillar of ADIFEVEA World’s work. The organization implements targeted initiatives to empower women and girls, address gender-based inequalities, and promote menstrual health and hygiene. These efforts are complemented by economic empowerment programs that support income-generating activities and strengthen women’s financial independence.
