This role will be assigned to one of Lumenus’ designated multi-service sites. &nbsp;KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;<ul><li>Monitors the overall condition, readiness and cleanliness of select sites, ensuring the premises, furniture, and fixtures are in working order and within compliance where applicable. </li><li>Support in setting up / tearing down meeting rooms including the furniture arrangement, supply of relevant equipment and replenishment of supplies. </li><li>Monitors the performance of cleaning and other service vendors, ensuring that work meets the quality and expectations of the organization. </li><li>Work with Admin and Site team leads to keep operations running day to day. </li><li>Completes small repairs and handyman tasks. </li><li>May perform other duties within the nature and level of the job. </li><li>Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as leaks or power outages, and take appropriate action to resolve issues. </li><li>Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or functions held on-site, including moving furniture, arranging decorations, and providing support as needed.&nbsp; </li><li>Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs performed.&nbsp; </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors, responding professionally to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. &nbsp;</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS: &nbsp;<ul><li>Diploma/Certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience </li><li>Minimum year 2 -3 years of directly related work experience. &nbsp;</li><li>At least 3 years previous related experience in an office setting or equivalent combination of experience and education. </li><li>Non-profit experience in an accredited organization is an asset &nbsp;</li></ul>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: &nbsp;<ul><li>Enthusiastic self-starter who takes great pride in their work </li><li>Previous experience in a non-profit, customer service role, and/or live-in treatment facility </li><li>Outstanding communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff. </li><li>Strong organization and time-management skills </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills (ability to isolate causes of potential problems and find appropriate solutions) </li><li>Some heavy lifting and physical effort required, such as lifting heavy cartons and boxes etc. up to 50 pounds, and on your feet or walking around up to 80% of the day (accommodation will be provided, if requested) • Ability to work extra overtime hours, as requested. </li><li>Knowledge of basic building maintenance principles and techniques, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. </li><li>Ability to operate and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectively. </li><li>Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team. </li><li>Understanding of confidentiality requirements and respect for the privacy of individuals in the facility.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Satisfactory clearance under the Criminal Reference Check </li><li>Travel will be required to other locations within the portfolio; must have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and access to reliable vehicle.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul>TO APPLY: Interested applicants are invited to visit our website at&nbsp;<a href="https://lumenus.ca/careers/" target="_blank">https://lumenus.ca/careers/&nbsp;</a>and submit their cover letter and resume through our Career Centre.&nbsp;&nbsp;We ask applicants to make any accommodation requests for the interview or selection process known in advance by contacting the Human Resources Department.
