Job Description:<ul><li>Assisting in the administration of all human resource systems &amp; programs.</li><li>Complete pre-screen phone interviews</li><li>Review resumes for qualifications and experience</li><li>Participate on interview panels</li><li>Creating and updating job postings, job descriptions and performance reviews.</li><li>Lending administrative assistance with the Relief Staff Shelter Training</li><li>Ensuring Dayforce completion status and onboarding paperwork is completed for all new relief staff.</li><li>Maintenance of employee records</li><li>Creating and updating forms</li><li>Creating and updating policies and procedures</li><li>Provide back up for other team members when away to support in all areas of HR</li><li>Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Able to work independently and in inter-dependent teams</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Post-secondary education in human resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Previous experience in human resources or administration an asset</li><li>Knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li></ul>Working in an environment where there may be smoke is required.
