The Manager, Finance - PM is responsible for supporting the effective delivery of projects in Supportive Housing and Real Estate &amp; Property Management divisions. The Manager, Finance - PM will also ensure oversight for all matters related to financial expenditure and reporting, as well as aiding the financial and operational reporting, day-to-day management, and external audits.&nbsp; Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Manager, Finance - PM role in the realm of property management, is multifaceted and crucial for the financial health and success of the properties you oversee. The following are the specifics:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with colleagues to align financial strategies with organizational goals.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop innovative approaches to maximize rental income and enhance property management practices with Property Management.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success with Property Management.&nbsp;</li><li>Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows and optimize processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective goods/services.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls specific to RGI properties.&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and manage annual budgets (operating, capital Improvement and capital replacement) for property operations, including forecasting revenue and controlling expenses.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Create 10-year cash flows projections for RGI properties.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage relations with all lending agencies and organizations.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with partners and stakeholders to support the programs and processes that will drive financial stability and compliance.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor financial performance and provide regular reports for senior management and the board of directors on a timely basis (monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure compliance with government regulations, funding requirements, and reporting standards related to RGI housing programs.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices related to RGI housing finance and accounting.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for all financial transactions, such as rent calculations, subsidies, and lease agreements, accounts payable, and general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Identify financial risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.&nbsp;</li><li>Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure integrity of financial data.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; CPA designation preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years of experience in property management or affordable housing finance.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge of RGI housing programs, regulations, and funding mechanisms in Ontario, particularly in the Toronto area.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting software (e.g., Yardi, Microsoft Excel and other financial software packages).&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening check with a ‘Clear’ or satisfactory result that meets the operational requirements of the Agency.&nbsp;</li></ul>Dixon Hall is dedicated to fostering an inclusive selection process and work environment, guided by their Race Relations and Employment Equity Policies.
