Central Toronto Youth Services (CTYS)&nbsp;is seeking individuals with a personal commitment to our vision and mission to fill vacancies on our volunteer Board of Directors. Directors are expected to&nbsp;serve an initial 3-year term and devote up to 10 hours per month.CTYS is an accredited not-for-profit youth mental health agency serving some of Toronto’s most vulnerable youth. CTYS&nbsp;provides&nbsp;equitable,&nbsp;evidence-&nbsp;informed&nbsp;mental&nbsp;health&nbsp;services&nbsp;to&nbsp;youth, young adults and families&nbsp;to&nbsp;strengthen&nbsp;their&nbsp;wellbeing&nbsp;and enable them to&nbsp;thrive&nbsp;in their&nbsp;communities.Skills and Experience:Currently we are looking for candidates who have Board governance experience and skills in one or more of the following domains:<ul><li>Finance/Accounting in the Not-for Profit sector</li><li>Quality Improvement &amp; Performance Informed Care</li><li>Board Involvement and Not-For-Profit Governance</li><li>Lived experience of mental health challenges</li><li>Priority will be given to candidates who are members of BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, communities with intersecting identities.</li></ul>Successful candidates will serve an initial 3-year term and should have the ability to devote 10 hours per month involving:<ul><li>Attending board meetings on the last Thursday of every month from 6-8pm (currently via Zoom)</li><li>Participating on a board committee and/or project work</li><li>Attending events such as the AGM or strategic planning sessions</li></ul>About the Board:Members of the Board of Directors (Directors) are volunteers and serve without remuneration.
