  • Collaborate with internal fundraising teams to develop social media campaign plans supporting strategic goals including lead generation, reach and conversion/fundraising
  • Connect with peers to develop content that celebrates the positive, impact-based culture at Variety

Core knowledge + skills:

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Comfortable and confident interviewing stakeholders to curate content
  • Ability to work collaboratively with several teams and stakeholder groups, and balance multiple projects and priorities
  • Digital content planning and execution
  • Community cultivation and management
  • Channel analytics and optimization
  • Experience with a platform such as Hootsuite or Sprout Social

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, specializing in marketing, communications or relevant experience
  • Minimum of two years experience in a role that involves social media content development and management
  • You are a strong relationship manager, adaptable, and approach life and work with heart and hustle
  • Have a refined appreciation for digital and social trends as well as the power of compelling storytelling in all channels

Nice to haves

  • Non-profit experience
