1 Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop Job

NOWW (Northwestern Ontario Writers Workshop) is a non-profit, charitable organization based in Thunder Bay, Ontario seeking volunteer board members with an interest in promoting, celebrating, and supporting writers across northwestern Ontario.

Bookkeeping/accounting experience is an asset, but not required.

Non-profit board governance experience would be helpful, but we will accept members with limited experience in this area.

This board is both a governance and an operational board.

Board members are expected to assist with planning events. Our two main annual events are the Literary Festival held in May and an annual writing competition for which we usually find an external coordinator. We host writing workshops throughout the year.
