Established in 2016, Fetch + Releash is a volunteer run dog rescue dedicated to saving dogs in need. Our foster dogs come from a variety of different backgrounds such as pounds and shelters, strays and surrendered pets, both locally and abroad. Through our network of volunteers, foster homes, trainers and veterinarians, we strive to give every dog the loving forever family they deserve. &nbsp;As a foster-based dog rescue, our foster dogs live in private homes across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) where they receive the love and attention they need to prepare them for adoption. Our Mission Adoption By collaborating with local and international communities, our mission is to save dogs in danger of homelessness, abuse, neglect or euthanasia. Once in our care, we match each dog with the loving forever family they deserve.&nbsp; Advocacy In addition to re-homing dogs, we are passionate about advocating for animal rights and educating the public on relevant issues such as:<ul>	<li>Backyard breeding</li>	<li>Overpopulation and the importance of spay &amp; neuter</li>	<li>Chained animals</li></ul>Dogs are sentient beings with the right to nutritious food, a life enriched with adequate exercise and mental stimulation, veterinary care and love.&nbsp; Education A dog is a lifetime commitment and not to be discarded due to health, lifestyle change or inconvenience. Position Summary: The Events/Fundraising Admin Support is a passionate volunteer looking for an opportunity to make an impact in the world of dog rescue. Working closely with the Fundraising Lead and Events Team, they will maintain, update, and develop documents and web pages for adoption, fundraising, and other events; as well as, assist in the planning and executing of events and fundraising.&nbsp; Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul>	<li>Build strong relationships with Fundraising and Events teams</li>	<li>Attend monthly meetings to help plan upcoming events</li>	<li>Coordinate with the Storage Team lead on donation needs</li>	<li>Manage Donations email inbox: respond promptly, arrange pickups, update donation needs, and direct in-kind donations to storage</li>	<li>Maintain donation needs on the website and automatic email reply</li>	<li>Manage Events email inbox: forward, tag, and respond to emails</li>	<li>Update Events – Dogs in Care and Upcoming Events tabs weekly</li>	<li>Create and update web listings for upcoming events weekly</li>	<li>Promote events in private and targeted Facebook groups</li></ul>Required Skills<ul>	<li>A dynamic personality and a passion for event planning!&nbsp;</li>	<li>Demonstrated skills in building relationships with team members&nbsp;</li>	<li>Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li>	<li>Working knowledge of Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Google&nbsp;Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Forms)</li>	<li>Exceptional communication skills&nbsp;</li>	<li>Proactivity/self-starter. ﻿The Board of Directors represents the leaders of our agency and serves as a working board that oversees the long term strategic vision and overall health of the organization. Directors approve the organization’s philosophy and continually review the management’s performance while working toward agency goals. The Board of Directors will also annually review and approve plans for funding in view of organizational goals. Board members have a list of responsibilities that they renew every year during the annual election at our Annual General Meeting.
