Our&nbsp;In-School Mentoring Program&nbsp;pairs you with one elementary school student who you share common interests with. Matches spend one-hour once per week together on school grounds doing non-academic activities such as playing sports, games, creating art or just hanging out at the playground. Our matches are paired for the duration, or remainder, of the academic school-year. Deadline to apply to volunteer in this program for the 2025-26 school year is Feb 1, 2026. Our Big Brothers Community Program pairs you with a Little Buddy based on personality and shared interests to build a supportive one-to-one relationship based on trust, connection, and fun! Our matches spend two or more hours once per week doing free or low-cost activities they enjoy most and are paired for a minimum of one year. Our Big Brothers are<ul><li>Male, trans, and gender diverse individuals who are 18+.</li><li>Reliable, consistent, dedicated and respectful of others.</li><li>Able to meet once weekly for 2 or more hours with a Mentee on weekends or afterschool hours.</li></ul>Our Little Brothers are<ul><li>Boys, trans, and gender-diverse children and youth ages 7 to 14.</li><li>Those who would benefit from having a positive role model in their life.</li></ul>NOW IS THE TIME TO VOLUNTEER! Big Brothers Community Mentor

Groups meet once weekly for 90 minute sessions during weekday afternoons at schools/community centres and engage in life skills, communication, and social-emotional discussions to encourage healthy life-long habits. The program is led by 2-3 mentors to a group of Littles and runs once a season for 8 to 10 weeks. Our Group Mentors are<ul><li>Male, trans, and gender diverse individuals who are 18+.</li><li>Reliable, consistent, dedicated, and respectful of others.</li><li>Available to meet once weekly for 90-minute sessions from Monday to Friday between 2:30pm and 4:30pm.</li></ul>Our Game On! volunteers are asked to enroll in two 8 week terms as it's the best way to experience this fun program. Our Group Mentees are<ul><li>Boys, trans, and gender diverse children and youth in grades 4 to 7.</li><li>Youth who could benefit from building self-confidence and learning healthy lifestyle choices.</li></ul>Locations: Schools and community centres across Greater Vancouver.
