Nous souhaitons recruter une personne qui a l’esprit d’équipe et une pensée stratégique, qui est souple, ouverte à apprendre et à entreprendre et développer de nouveaux champs d’expertise.Ses responsabilités particulières incluent de&nbsp;:<ul><li>surveiller les développements liés aux aspects juridiques, de politiques ou de droits humains liés au VIH et à l’hépatite C (VHC);</li><li>effectuer des recherches et rédiger des documents sur les enjeux juridiques et de politiques en lien avec le VIH et le VHC pour divers publics, notamment les communautés particulièrement affectées par le VIH/VHC, les travailleur(-euse)s de première ligne et les responsables des politiques;</li><li>développer des documents pour des contentieux stratégiques et des initiatives de réforme du droit;</li><li>travailler avec d’autres employé-es à développer, mettre en œuvre et réexaminer périodiquement les priorités et initiatives de plaidoyer du Réseau juridique VIH, y compris les activités de communications connexes;</li><li>donner des présentations, des exposés et des ateliers;</li><li>donner des entrevues aux médias et répondre aux demandes médiatiques;</li><li>représenter le Réseau juridique lors de réunions avec d’autres organismes (nationaux et internationaux), des agences gouvernementales, des responsables des politiques et des représentant-es officiel-les;</li><li>identifier, en discutant avec l’équipe de la recherche et des politiques, des orientations stratégiques pour la recherche et le plaidoyer du Réseau juridique VIH;</li><li>gérer des projets; et</li><li>contribuer, selon les besoins, au développement de demandes de financement et aux budgets de projets dans les domaines pertinents au travail de recherche, de développement des politiques et de plaidoyer, et préparer des comptes&nbsp;rendus d’activités à l’intention des bailleurs de fonds.</li></ul>QualificationsLes qualifications minimales incluent&nbsp;:<ul><li>un diplôme en droit d’une faculté de droit canadienne ou une attestation du Comité national sur les équivalences des diplômes de droit(être membre du Barreau d’une province ou d’un territoire canadien est un atout, mais pas une exigence);</li><li>des compétences éprouvées en recherche et rédaction juridiques;</li><li>d’excellentes habiletés à communiquer en anglais oral et écrit;</li><li>&nbsp;expérience de travail en analyse des politiques et en plaidoyer liés au VIH, aux droits humains ou à un domaine connexe;</li><li>compétences éprouvées en gestion de projet;&nbsp;</li><li>capacité de voyager au Canada et à l’échelle internationale; et</li><li>sens de l’initiative, persévérance, flexibilité, collégialité et passion pour la justice sociale.</li></ul>La ou le candidat-e idéal-e présentera également les atouts suivants&nbsp;:<ul><li>avoir une bonne connaissance du français;</li><li>être familiarisé-e avec les enjeux liés au VIH et au VHC, y compris les impacts sociaux et de santé des lois et politiques répressives sur les communautés particulièrement affectées par le VIH/VHC;</li><li>être complètement bilingue (anglais et français) – connaître d’autres langues étant un atout additionnel;</li><li>détenir une expérience de travail auprès de personnes vivant avec le VIH ou le VHC, ou affectées par l’un ou l’autre;</li><li>avoir une bonne connaissance du droit international;&nbsp;</li><li>détenir de l’expérience en contentieux; et</li><li>détenir de l’expérience en communication orale en public et en entrevues médiatiques.</li></ul>Salaires et avantages sociaux&nbsp;L’échelle de salaire pour ce poste est de 73 000&nbsp;$ à 78 000&nbsp;$, avec avantages sociaux payés par l’employeur.&nbsp;Processus pour postulerVeuillez faire parvenir par courriel votre curriculum vitæ, une lettre de présentation ainsi qu’un bref exemple de texte rédigé par vous (et qui n’a pas été révisé par une autre personne), à&nbsp;<a href="mailto:hiring@hivlegalnetwork.ca" target="_blank">hiring@hivlegalnetwork.ca</a>.
