Director, Utilities<h2>Position Overview</h2>The&nbsp;Director, Utilities plays an important role within Efficiency Canada, contributing to strategic direction and execution of utility demand-side management (DSM) policy and research initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director, Senior Director of Policy Strategy, and Senior Management Team, this position is responsible for driving campaigns and research efforts to bolster energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts in Canada's utilities sector. Le poste est basé à Montréal, et comporte des déplacements ponctuels dans les provinces de l’Atlantique.ResponsabilitésDéveloppement et gestion de portefeuille et de partenariats<ul><li>Exécuter la stratégie de RBC en matière d’impact environnemental et développer le bassin de partenariats afin d’assurer une gestion proactive des relations avec nos partenaires et de répondre aux demandes de soutien reçues.</li><li>Diriger la gestion des relations pour un portefeuille de partenariats, tout en soutenant les directeurs généraux régionaux, Marketing et citoyenneté, dans la création et la gestion de partenariats majeurs, en veillant à offrir aux organisations une expérience de premier ordre. </li><li>Assurer des investissements régionaux dans la collectivité efficaces et percutants, cadrant fortement avec l’ambition de RBC de soutenir la transition vers une économie à zéro émission nette.</li><li>S’assurer que toutes les demandes de dons sont conformes à la Politique mondiale des investissements dans la collectivité RBC et qu’on y répond dans les 90&nbsp;jours, selon les normes définies par l’équipe Impact environnemental.</li><li>Faire preuve d’une grande diligence à l’égard des partenariats d’investissement dans la collectivité pour minimiser l’exposition de RBC et du partenaire au risque réputationnel.</li><li>Développer des connaissances et des relations dans le secteur environnemental et philanthropique de la région afin d'améliorer la mise en œuvre et la crédibilité du programme.</li></ul>Mise en œuvre de partenariats et valorisation de la marque<ul><li>Collaborer avec les équipes régionales et nationales pour lancer des partenariats environnementaux adaptés et des programmes à fort impact au niveau des marchés locaux, afin de soutenir la valorisation de la marque et la promotion des résultats environnementaux dans la région.</li><li>Représenter RBC à l’extérieur, selon les directives, lors d’événements de partenaires régionaux et d’autres activités communautaires régionales dans le cadre du pilier relatif à la a transition vers une économie à zéro émission nette.</li><li>Soutenir la direction régionale dans l’identification, l’exécution et la promotion des activités d’engagement et d’apprentissage des employés associées aux partenariats communautaires à impact environnemental.</li></ul>Gestion financière et information<ul><li>En consultation avec le directeur général et le ou les directeurs généraux régionaux, Marketing et citoyenneté, concernés, contribuer à la gestion du budget d'investissement dans la collectivité à l’échelle régionale, en assurant une planification et une exécution solides et en optimisant les ressources grâce à des synergies entre les équipes et des points d'intégration.</li><li>De concert avec le directeur général, voir à ce que toute l’information soit à jour et que les ententes de partenariat interservices soient respectées grâce à SmartSimple.</li></ul>Éléments clés de la réussiteExigences<ul><li>Diplôme d’études postsecondaires ou diplôme dans un domaine connexe ou au moins trois années d’expérience, idéalement acquise dans le secteur environnemental à but non lucratif ou philanthropique.</li><li>Bonne connaissance des solutions communautaires régionales de lutte contre les changements climatiques ou des solutions fondées sur la nature, idéalement accompagnée d’un réseau de contacts établi.&nbsp; </li><li>Capacité de faire preuve d’une grande intelligence émotionnelle pour gérer les partenariats.</li><li>Autonomie, capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément et à travailler en collaboration avec un réseau diversifié de partenaires, tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur de la Banque.</li><li>Excellentes aptitudes en matière de présentation, de prise de parole en public et de rédaction, et capacité à communiquer les projets, les plans de programme et l'impact des investissements dans la collectivité auprès des groupes de parties prenantes à l’interne et à l’externe.</li><li>Bilinguisme (anglais et français) requis, car vous servirez une clientèle, et ferez affaire avec des collègues et des partenaires, francophones et anglophones à l’échelle du Canada.</li></ul>Atouts souhaités<ul><li>Expérience dans le domaine des partenariats entre entreprises et organismes caritatifs, ainsi que dans la gestion des communications internes et externes et des occasions de mise en œuvre qui y sont associées.</li><li>Capacité d’interagir avec aisance avec la haute direction.</li></ul>Avantages du posteVous aurez l’occasion de travailler aux côtés d’une équipe dévouée de collègues qui s’engagent à soutenir la transition vers une économie à zéro émission nette et à collaborer avec des OSBL et des organismes caritatifs pour atteindre cet objectif.&nbsp;Nous donnons notre pleine mesure, pensons autrement pour poursuivre notre croissance et collaborons afin d’offrir des conseils judicieux qui contribueront à la réussite de la clientèle et à la prospérité des collectivités.
