Director, Utilities<h2>Position Overview</h2>The&nbsp;Director, Utilities plays an important role within Efficiency Canada, contributing to strategic direction and execution of utility demand-side management (DSM) policy and research initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Executive Director, Senior Director of Policy Strategy, and Senior Management Team, this position is responsible for driving campaigns and research efforts to bolster energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts in Canada's utilities sector. You will also engage in pre- and post-program email communication with school facilitators of learning (‘teachers’) to support them to engage with SCBC educational resources and invite a deeper relationship with the beings just outside our doors. During the summer months, you will support Sierra Club BC Outreach at farmers markets in the Vancouver Area. En Côte d’Ivoire, l’EUMC soutient les jeunes, en particulier les jeunes femmes, autour de deux thèmes : l’entrepreneuriat des jeunes et l’égalité des sexes, par le biais du projet IGNI+E. IGNI+E est un programme canadien de coopération volontaire internationale et de développement de premier plan, mis en œuvre par l’EUMC. Il est mis en œuvre grâce à la générosité des Canadien·nes et au soutien financier du gouvernement du Canada, par l’intermédiaire d’Affaires mondiales Canada.<h2>Description du partenaire</h2>Créer par arrêté du gouverneur Général en date du 23 décembre 1908 à Grand-Bassam, la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Côte d’Ivoire est un organisme chargé de représenter les intérêts des entreprises commerciales, industrielles et de services, d’assurer la formation des entrepreneurs et d’apporter un appui aux entreprises. Le 17 mai 1963, les Chambres d’industrie et les Chambres d’agriculture sont organisées séparément par décret. Toutefois, la forte imbrication entre l’industrie et le commerce amène, le 8 janvier 1992, le gouvernement ivoirien à regrouper ces activités dans une même chambre placée sous la tutelle du ministère du commerce et de l’industrie.
