En Côte d’Ivoire, l’EUMC soutient les jeunes, en particulier les jeunes femmes, autour de deux thèmes : l’entrepreneuriat des jeunes et l’égalité des sexes, par le biais du projet IGNI+E. IGNI+E est un programme canadien de coopération volontaire internationale et de développement de premier plan, mis en œuvre par l’EUMC. Il est mis en œuvre grâce à la générosité des Canadien·nes et au soutien financier du gouvernement du Canada, par l’intermédiaire d’Affaires mondiales Canada.<h2>Description du partenaire</h2>Fondé en octobre 2019, par Edith KOUASSI et Lionel MELEDJE, ECOPLAST INNOV est une startup citoyenne engagée dans la lutte contre la pollution environnementale. Ecoplast Innov s’est engagée activement dans la gestion des déchets en adoptant une approche proactive envers les déchets. La startup est motivée par la nécessité de protéger l’environnement, d’atténuer les effets du changement climatique et de lutter contre les défis environnementaux pressants. En parallèle, elle offre la possibilité précieuse de créer des emplois durables et de contribuer activement à l’économie circulaire.
