Working closely with the fundraising and communications teams, you’ll help translate PIH’s mission into compelling visuals and digital experiences that inspire action and expand PIH Canada’s reach. &nbsp;Primary Responsibilities&nbsp; &nbsp;Marketing Design &amp; Multimedia Creation (50%)&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead the creation of visually compelling, brand-aligned assets across multiple channels:&nbsp;<ul><li>Design social media content, digital banners, campaign creative, email graphics, one-pagers, and event collateral </li><li>Edit short-form videos and reels for social media, storytelling, and donor engagement </li><li>Create campaign visuals from concept to finished product (art direction, illustration, typography, motion graphics, layout) </li><li>Build and maintain a visual asset library and brand templates (Canva, Adobe, etc.) </li><li>Adapt global PIH content to Canadian audiences — translating stories visually through design, layout, and narrative framing </li><li>Ensure all visuals meet accessibility, mobile formatting, and brand guidelines&nbsp;</li></ul>Web Experience &amp; Digital Optimization (30%)&nbsp;&nbsp;Support a seamless user journey through strong visual and UI/UX design:&nbsp;<ul><li>Design landing pages, donation forms, P2P pages, and campaign-based website features </li><li>Enhance UX/UI through layout, hierarchy, visual flow, accessibility, and donor-friendly navigation </li><li>Support front-end improvements (Drupal, Fundraise Up, Shopify) with design-first thinking </li><li>Develop visual concepts for campaign pages and digital fundraising experiences </li><li>Work with fundraising team to visually translate donor journeys and campaign narratives </li><li>Contribute to testing and optimization via heatmaps, A/B layouts, and UI feedback loops &nbsp;</li></ul>Creative Direction &amp; Paid Media Strategy (20%)&nbsp;Bring campaign and visual concepts to life:&nbsp;<ul><li>Design creative assets for paid media campaigns (Meta, Google, display) </li><li>Translate campaign strategy into visual storytelling (graphics, video, animation) </li><li>Develop creative briefs and collaborate with the agency to refine campaign visuals </li><li>Review campaign performance to design A/B variations (thumbnails, headlines, visuals) </li><li>Explore new formats (motion graphics, Instagram carousels, interactive elements, short impact videos) &nbsp;</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills&nbsp;Education and Experience:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>5+ years of experience in graphic design, digital content creation, UX/UI, and/or multimedia storytelling </li><li>Demonstrated experience producing visual assets for campaigns, social media, websites, or fundraising initiatives </li><li>Previous work in the nonprofit, social impact, advocacy, or mission-driven sectors is an asset </li><li>Strong portfolio demonstrating: <ul><li>Social content, campaign creative, or advertising visuals </li><li>Video editing (reels, animations, short-form content) o&nbsp;Brand storytelling through visual design o&nbsp;Layout, typography, and motion graphics </li></ul></li><li>Experience building templates and visual asset libraries (Canva, Figma, Adobe) </li><li>Experience designing for web and mobile layouts with a focus on user experience and accessibility </li><li>Ability to translate campaign concepts into visuals that drive action, emotion, and engagement </li><li>Comfort balancing artistic creativity with campaign goals and performance metrics </li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to visually interpret fundraising and advocacy messages </li><li>Strong teamwork mindset with comfort working alongside fundraisers, content writers, agency partners, and global colleagues </li><li>Highly organized, able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively </li><li>Passion for social justice, storytelling, and using design to drive meaningful social impact &nbsp;</li></ul>Compensation&nbsp;Salary range is $62,000 - $75,000.
