Effectively communicate and present the critical business and clinical matters to the CEO and the Board of Directors.</li><li>Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Manager to develop the data to support new funding requests.</li></ul>Human Resources Management<ul><li>Consults with Human Resources/CEO on significant human resource issues.</li><li>Collaborates with HR in drafting and revising job descriptions before approving them together with the CEO.</li><li>Strategic involvement in the recruitment and hiring of staff responsible specifically under this position and in general as required for other positions in the agency.</li><li>Responsible to maintain the proper staffing levels on the clinical team, scheduling/coverage to adequately meet program objectives and client needs to ensure services are accessible in a timely manner as per determined industry and agency standards.</li><li>Coach clinical managers to ensure employees maintain compliance.</li><li>Conduct and monitor performance reviews for clinical staff and students that report to the Director and provide final sign off on all performance reviews within the clinical team</li><li>Be available for staff consultations on a regular basis and /or as a required to address issues as they arise along in addition to annual performance reviews. The Manager, Services is responsible for ensuring that the program and service delivery within the assigned scope of work is efficient and operational and that the services to children and families are carried out effectively, according to the Child Youth and Family Services Act, the Society’s policies and procedures and all Ministry standards and guidelines.The Manager, Services is also responsible for attending meetings convened by outside agencies as required, facilitating internal communication processes to support positive community relations and liaising with other institutions and community groups on special initiatives.In this capacity, the Manager's responsibilities include:&nbsp;<ul><li>Participating in an annual planning process in which current service requirements are reviewed in the context of forecast for projected service requirements.</li><li>Developing appropriate service plans for the assigned areas of responsibility within all service areas.</li><li>Ensuring that service plans and initiatives are in line with the Society’s Strategic Plan/Direction.</li><li>Coaching and leading a team of Supervisors/Project Management Coordinators responsible for various functions within the spectrum of service delivery and quality assurance.</li><li>Developing and maintaining tools and systems to monitor employee performance and&nbsp;adherence to Ministry standards.</li><li>In co-operation with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), assisting in the preparation of&nbsp;budgets.</li><li>Monitoring expenditures within approved budget related to all assigned programs. </li><li>Managing client complaints in an effective manner and ensure appropriate follow-up when required.</li><li>Reviewing case related data in order to make recommendations regarding changes in practice.</li><li>Participate in the review and revision of service-related policies and procedures to reflect best practice.</li><li>Overseeing and ensuring sound practices regarding quality assurance data gathering, file&nbsp;reviews, stakeholder feedback, program evaluation and quality improvement.</li><li>Establishing mechanisms for consultation and communication in matters related to the development of quality assurance practices as well as the reporting and dissemination of quality assurance results, internally and externally.</li><li>Promoting adherence to all human resource policies and procedures as well as the Collective Agreement.</li><li>Promoting an inclusive workplace by keeping equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility at the forefront of all Society programs and services and playing a key role in supporting all employees in engaging in open discussion around equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.</li></ul>Qualifications:&nbsp;<ul><li>MSW or equivalent</li><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial position in a Child Welfare organization </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the culture, history and current oppressions experienced by people related to gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation and faced within the&nbsp;2SLGBTQIA+ communities.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the culture, history and current oppressions experienced by Indigenous peoples and racialized communities.</li><li>Applies anti-racist, anti-ableist, anti-colonialism, anti-heterosexism and anti-cissexism lenses to social&nbsp;problems</li><li>In-depth knowledge of the&nbsp;CYFSA, the Society’s policies and procedures and Ministry regulations, standards and guidelines. </li><li>Excellent leadership, planning, organizational and communication skills are required. </li><li>Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and creative problem-solving skills.&nbsp;</li></ul>
