Introduction&nbsp;HF Care (formerly Hong Fook Mental Health Association) is a fully accredited charitable organization serving communities across the Greater Toronto Area in English and five additional languages: Cambodian, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin and Vietnamese. Established in 1982, HF Care has been a provincial leader, providing a continuum of mental health services for Asian communities with locations in Toronto and Markham. Its work creates ripples of healing—from individuals finding help, to families finding hope, to communities learning that mental health care is strength, not weakness.&nbsp;HF Care Foundation (formerly Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation) drives change through philanthropy by providing HF Care with critical support through the generosity of its donors. In 2001, a small group of HF volunteers came together to ensure the organization had a long-term sustainability plan, to meet the growing needs of our community and expand beyond the limits of public funding. The Foundation created a new philanthropic “table” where the historically unmet needs of the Asian communities could be prioritized.&nbsp;On October 30, 2025, HF Care unveiled our new 2026–2029 Strategic Plan and completed a rebrand from Hong Fook Mental Health Association to HF Care. This evolution is driven by our commitment to deepening our culturally rooted model of care and reaching more families across diverse communities.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our Plan outlines a strategic expansion across programmatic, geographic, and organizational levels, driven by our vision to foster connected communities where every person can live their fullest, most meaningful life. Project Scope &amp; Objectives&nbsp;HF Care seeks a qualified fundraising consultant or firm, experienced with supporting non-profit agency fundraising capacity building, and with deep cultural understanding of philanthropy within East and Southeast communities, to design, document, and provide implementation support for an enhanced, multi-stream fundraising model to achieve our strategic funding goals. Project timeline will be discussed once the proposal is accepted.&nbsp;Key Deliverables:&nbsp;The consultant or firm is required to deliver the following tailored fundraising tools and documentation. &nbsp;<ol><li>Campaign Strategy Design<ul><li>Conduct a feasibility study to assess current organizational fundraising capacity and validate the proposed campaign fundraising goal.</li><li>Create a clear, prioritized prospect pipeline and recommended gift charts that clearly outline donor levels required for the campaign goal.</li><li>Provide a documented strategy for identifying and qualifying new high-potential individual and corporate prospects within the GTA and beyond.</li><li>A blueprint for recruiting, training, and managing a high-impact Campaign Cabinet/Volunteer Committee to champion the effort.</li></ul></li><li>Donor Engagement and Stewardship Tools</li></ol><ul><li>Produce a finalized, detailed, and visually compelling Case for Support articulating the need, HF Care's solution, and the measurable impact of strategic investment for all target audiences.</li><li>Develop a suite of core messaging, elevator pitches and Q&amp;A documents for use across all digital communications (website, social media) and by staff and volunteers, ensuring consistent articulation of the campaign’s mission and impact.</li><li>Develop a matrix detailing customized stewardship activities based on donor level, fund stream, and affinity, alongside a documented annual stewardship strategy plan. &nbsp;</li></ul><ol start="3"><li>Fundraising Model and Process Refresh<ul><li>Provide clear documentation of recommended processes, systems (CRM utilization), and staff/volunteer roles required to efficiently execute the overall campaign strategy and the multi-stream model.&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ol>3. <h2>Position Summary</h2>Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the role oversees stewardship activities and lead donor recognition events and engagement efforts to drive donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, while ensuring an exceptional donor experience.&nbsp;This position is ideal for someone who thrives on managing details, building relationships, and is passionate about working in a non-profit organization.&nbsp;<h2>Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Manage all donor stewardship and recognition activities.</li><li>Lead donor recognition programs including donor wall opportunities.</li><li>Plan and execute all donor events, ensuring seamless coordination, track and analyze event metrics and donor feedback.</li><li>Responsible for donor reporting, including preparation of impact reports, development updates, and acknowledgment letters.</li><li>Manage Tribute Gifts program including the name recognition on Mural Wall.</li><li>Ensure donor records are current and accurate with all necessary and pertinent information, contacts, and actions are in the database timely.</li><li>Collaborate with fundraising, communications and marketing, and events teams to ensure the alignment of initiative objectives with donor engagement strategies and maintain donor benefit tracking in the database.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain budgets related to stewardship; process invoices and ensure administrative processes align with organizational protocols.</li><li>Perform other duties and cross-functional assignments as assigned.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications &amp; Skills:</h2><ul><li>Undergraduate degree or equivalent in public relations, fundraising, marketing or event management.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising or transferable experience in comparable roles.&nbsp;</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly for donor/client communications; proficiency in English and Chinese languages.</li><li>Excellent project management and customer service skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to manage with a high level of ambiguity and independence.</li><li>Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products.</li><li>Experience with CRM database systems, with knowledge in Raiser’s Edge (NXT) considered an asset.</li><li>A strong passion for non-profit work or senior care.</li><li>A valid driver’s licence with access to vehicle</li></ul>Note: Note:&nbsp;We thank all applicants for their interest, please note only those selected for further consideration will be contactedDisclaimer: Mon Sheong Foundation is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
