Resource Development Coordinator

The Kidney Foundation of Canada is a national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through funding and stimulating innovative research, providing education and support, promoting access to quality healthcare, and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation. The Kidney Foundation partners with local Bingo &amp; Gaming Centers to raise funds for our programs. We are looking for individuals to volunteer and represent The Kidney Foundation of Canada, perform specific duties and share information about our organization with the guests at Bingo events. Volunteer Duties: • To provide excellent customer service and be a customer ambassador. Welcome customers at the main entrance, thank them for supporting your charity, and assist with doors. • Provide information on games, programs, and promotions, answer questions, etc. Circulate in the Cabinet Game area ‐ chat with customers when appropriate. • If requested by the operator ‐ assist with promotions –‐ e.g., handing out ballots, prizes. • Support approved charity awareness initiatives from your charity ‐ e.g., displays, brochures, giveaways, or gifts. • May also assist with the delivery of food and non‐alcoholic beverages, return food trays to the kitchen area, assist with clean‐up (used bingo paper, etc.), and assist with call-backs of bingo winners (you will be shown how if this is required). Requirements: Works collaboratively with Chapter staff. Commitment: As per the event. Dress Code: Golf shirt will be provided; Black (or dark) pants; Wear comfortable footwear (open-toe&nbsp;shoes, high heels and flip flops are not acceptable); NO Denim of any colour, tank tops, sweat or exercise/yoga pants, brightly colored or patterned clothing, shorts or skirts, or clothing with excessive wear and holes. Hats are not permitted.
