About the Role 
The Finance Manager plays a vital role in stewarding INCA’s finances with excellence, helping to ensure our resources are used effectively and reported transparently to donors, board members, and global partners. This role combines full-cycle accounting, partner financial reporting, audit readiness, and strategic budgeting oversight, all while contributing to the broader vision and mission of INCA. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
Finance &amp; Accounting 
Lead full-cycle accounting using QuickBooks Online 
Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll coordination 
Maintain fund tracking and CRA compliance for restricted/unrestricted funds 
Document financial policies, workflows, and internal controls 
Oversee monthly and year-end close, and prepare for audits 
Manage relationships with the bank and oversee foreign exchange (FX) conversions from CAD to USD for international disbursements 
 
Reporting &amp; Financial Analysis 
Prepare monthly financial transmission reports and consolidated financial statements 
Produce project-based reports comparing actuals vs. budgets, including variance explanations 
Deliver clear, insight-focused reports to support executive and board-level decision-making 
Standardize internal reporting templates and timelines for greater consistency and efficiency 
 
Budgeting &amp; Planning 
Lead the organization’s annual budgeting process 
Maintain a centralized and up-to-date view of all project and program budgets, from pipeline to completion 
Support department and program leaders in planning, tracking, and adjusting their financial plans 
 
Partner &amp; Program Support 
Develop standardized financial reporting requirements for international partners 
Support partner organizations in improving their financial systems and practices, including training and capacity development in basic accounting and budgeting 
Collaborate with the programs team to ensure disbursement schedules and reports are timely, accurate, and aligned with donor expectations 
 
Operational Improvements 
Work with team members to process, revise, or update donation payments, including those recorded in Raiser’s Edge 
Help mature INCA’s operations through the development of scalable, compliant, and documented financial procedures 
Support integration across platforms (QuickBooks, RE, sponsorship portal) to reduce friction and improve visibility 
 
Qualifications 
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in nonprofit/charity finance 
Strong knowledge of fund accounting, CRA charity regulations, and donor financial reporting 
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and preferably Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM 
CPA or CPB designation (or in progress) preferred 
Experience preparing for audits and managing restricted funds 
Excellent analytical and communication skills 
Experience with international development, multi-currency disbursements, or partner financial capacity-building is an asset

Education 
Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration 
CPA or equivalent certification is a strong asset

Finance Manager

Baldwin Housing and Community Support Program is seeking a Community Support Worker - 6 Month Contract - to provide instrumental support services to individuals aged 16 or older who have a serious mental illness/concurrent disorder. Services will be provided within a framework of a client-centered rehabilitation model. The community support worker will work collaboratively with the team and other mental health service providers to increase the functional abilities and independent living of residents of the Baldwin Housing and Community Support Program. The Community Support Worker will perform a continuum of functions, including developing support plans with clients, client, and systems advocacy, symptom management, life skills teaching, supportive counselling, family support, and crisis support. The Community Support Worker provides support within our residential setting and in the Community with individuals living independently. The community support worker may provide on-call support and, at times, works flexible hours.Qualifications:Candidates must have a college diploma/university degree in social service worker or social work with experience in the mental health field and/or addictions and housing. Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration in a professional college or association. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for use in this position.
