This role works closely with the project team, project participants and stakeholders to integrate learning and improvement into project practices and mental health delivery.RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy Planning<ul><li>Collaborates with the team in the planning and evaluation of the project.</li></ul>Data Collection and Analysis<ul><li>Oversees the design of databases, data collection forms, error checking methods and related programmes for collection, analysis and reporting.</li><li>Designs, coordinates, and conducts interviews and focus groups to gather qualitative and quantitative data.</li><li>Coordinates data collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting.</li><li>Performs analysis, interpretation, evaluation of results, and prepares reports.</li><li>Analyzes development of processes, structures and systems to integrate learning and improvement into project practices.</li></ul>Program Evaluation&nbsp;<ul><li>Prepares data management and operations documentation for the project.</li><li>Liaises between study centre and remote study sites and personnel.</li><li>Communicates the project’s progress through regular reports.</li><li>Troubleshoots issues throughout research study development and implementation.</li><li>Applies specialized knowledge and scientific principles to review, critically appraise and interpret published literature.</li><li>Uses statistical software to analyze data and interpret results.</li><li>Writes sections of scientific papers, funding proposals and abstracts.</li><li>Conducts literature searches.</li></ul>Knowledge Translation and Exchange<ul><li>Leads knowledge translation and exchange initiatives; raises the projects’ profile at the appropriate forums and events.</li><li>Provides subject matter expertise relating to the evaluations; presents results at meetings, seminars, conferences and events as required.</li><li>Develops final project reports and materials, including public-facing resources.</li><li>Conducts knowledge sharing and communication with project implementers, partners, and relevant external audiences to demonstrate the impact of social prescribing work through info graphics, poster presentations, webinars, publishing articles, etc.</li></ul>Communications<ul><li>Develops materials and messaging by collecting, reviewing and summarizing information from various sources.</li><li>Supports the creation of press releases as needed.</li><li>Collaborates with internal teams to plan and implement knowledge mobilization initiatives using various platforms: social prescribing newsletter, social media, print, digital print, video, ebulletin, etc.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONSRequirements<ul><li>Undergraduate degree in program evaluation, social sciences, or social services research, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of experience in research and analysis support for a busy and diverse team.</li><li>Experience in conducting and supporting program evaluations and/or public health, or social science research.</li><li>Experience with quantitative and qualitative evaluation/research methods.</li><li>Experience with communications or knowledge translation initiatives for projects.</li><li>Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills to prepare a wide range of products and help stakeholders understand evidence/ data.</li><li>Ability to synthesize and translate complex information and experience for different audiences in a variety of formats, including verbally, in writing, and online.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, manage multiple priorities and seek assistance as required.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Extremely detail-oriented with superior organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.</li><li>Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge of web design and internet culture, with the ability to use various applications to build knowledge mobilization products and resources.</li><li>Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office software applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.</li><li>Commitment to the principles of Health Equity, as outlined in the Alliance’s Health Equity Charter&nbsp;<a href="https://www.allianceon.org/sites/default/files/documents/Alliance%20Charter%202021-Full-English-Revised.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.allianceon.org/sites/default/files/documents/Alliance%20Charter%202021-Full-English-Revised.pdf</a>&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to conduct work in keeping with the Alliance’s commitment to anti-oppression, anti-racism (including anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism), French language services, and to being 2SLGBTQ+ positive.</li><li>Previous experience in a health or health promotion environment preferred.</li><li>Experience with graphic design an asset.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous project management experience an asset.</li></ul>WORK LOCATIONThis position will have some flexibility of working from home and will be required to be on-site when needed at the Alliance office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.COMPENSATIONThe Alliance offers an exceptional benefits package, including pension with HOOPP, extended health and dental benefits, and a generous vacation package. HEAD OF MARKETING (VOLUNTEER) Organization: Right to Live Canada Location: Remote (Canada-wide) Time Commitment: 12+ hours per week (Flexible)------ THE MISSIONCanada is currently facing a human rights crisis of international consequence: poverty-driven disability euthanasia (MAiD). Individuals, blocked by state-enforced poverty, are choosing to end their lives with state assistance due to being unable to access essentials such as medical procedures, supportive housing, or even food. This systemic failure has triggered a United Nations investigation, criticism from the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and global condemnation.Right to Live Canada is engineering the only viable, system-level alternative to this crisis -- Social Brokerage. By creating a pipeline between sources of raw capital and specific one-time support plans ("Stability Mandates") for individuals in the process of applying for MAiD, the organization creates the "viable alternative" that the system itself mandates its assessors to find but does not currently provide. This represents the world's first market-based solution to poverty-driven euthanasia and the creation of a social impact credit system which exchanges philanthropic capital for verified, life-affirming outcomes, akin to carbon credits.Right to Live Canada is currently pre-pilot.------ THE ROLERight to Live Canada is seeking a Volunteer Head of Marketing to design, build, and run the organization’s marketing and public education function. This role exists because the organization is producing novel, complex ideas that must be translated into clear, accurate, and compelling public-facing materials. The work is high-stakes: misrepresentation, oversimplification, or advocacy-style messaging actively undermines credibility.The Head of Marketing works directly with the Founder / Executive Director.
