Guided by values of simplicity, service, hope, and good stewardship, Mary’s Meals feeds more than 3 million children every school day, helping them learn, grow, and build a brighter future.&nbsp;About the Director of Impact Partnerships role&nbsp;Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Impact Partnerships is a senior fundraising leader responsible for developing and strengthening strategic partnerships with high-net-worth donors, foundations, corporations, and small businesses.&nbsp;This leader will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Build a strong prospecting database </li><li>Lead a national major gifts strategy </li><li>Cultivate and steward donors toward long-term, multi-year commitments </li><li>Provide strategic philanthropic leadership across the organization </li><li>After the first six months, manage and support the Manager of Partnerships&nbsp;</li></ul>This position plays a crucial role in achieving MMC’s annual fundraising goal of approximately $250,000 - $350,000 in new revenue, understanding that this work requires strategic planning, patience, and relationship development.&nbsp;Specifically, in this role you’d be responsible for:&nbsp;Major Gifts &amp; Partnership Development&nbsp;<ul><li>Building and managing a high-quality major gifts portfolio. </li><li>Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting HNWIs, foundations, and corporate partners. </li><li>Creating tailored proposals using MMC’s global impact materials. </li><li>Hosting meetings, attending events, and building long-term trust with donors. </li><li>Developing a comprehensive prospecting and cultivation strategy for the coming years.&nbsp;</li></ul>Fundraising Strategy &amp; Reporting&nbsp;<ul><li>Tracking progress toward annual targets and providing timely updates to leadership. </li><li>Using data analytics to identify emerging donor trends. </li><li>Overseeing CRM reporting to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strategic insight. </li><li>Making real-time recommendations to improve donor engagement. What You Bring You bring: </li><li>5+ years of progressive major gifts experience with a track record of six-figure fundraising. </li><li>Experience working with HNWIs, foundations, corporations, and small businesses. </li><li>A strong portfolio management approach, with CRM proficiency. </li><li>Excellent proposal writing and donor communication skills. </li><li>Experience contributing to organizational strategy. </li><li>Comfort representing an organization publicly through presentations and events. </li><li>Ability to travel across Canada, as required. </li><li>A “hunter” mindset; proactively pursuing new donor relationships and opportunities rather than waiting for leads. </li><li>Experience acquiring new business or donors, not only stewarding existing ones. </li><li>High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and prioritization skills. </li><li>CFRE designation (or in progress) is considered an asset. </li><li>A valid driver’s license (required).&nbsp;</li></ul>If you meet some but not all of these requirements, we still encourage you to apply. It is a full-time, non-unionized, fully remote vacancy open to candidates across Canada, with a preference for those located in the GTA, Calgary, Edmonton, or Vancouver area and includes periodic travel for donor meetings, events, and stakeholder engagements.&nbsp;The salary for this role is $85,000 annually plus an 8% pension allotment, accompanied by full health benefits and an annual $1,500 health spending account.
