<p>Organization: Carty House<br>Term of Board Position: 3 Year Term<br>Deadline for application: October 10, 2025</p><p><br>Carty House is a registered charity that provides transitional housing and support to refugee women in Ottawa. Carty House offers safety, accommodation and support to its residents as they move through the refugee system and build the resources necessary to live integrated and independent lives in Canadian society.<br>We are currently recruiting for the Chair position on our Board of Directors. Founding Directors will be <strong>named as First Directors at incorporation</strong> and help establish the systems that guide CET’s Street Stewards, Pay-It-Forward Meals, Skill-Share Workshops, and Micro-Work &amp; Housing Hub.</p><h2>About us</h2><p>Unseen Ottawa (CET) is a civic &amp; social, community-development initiative tackling homelessness with practical, community-run solutions.
