About us

MIAG Centre for Diverse Women & Families is a dedicated social advocacy organization committed to supporting and empowering diverse communities. We focus on promoting inclusivity, equity, and social justice through various programs and initiatives that address the needs of women and families from diverse backgrounds.

What you will do

• Assist in organizing and facilitating technology workshops for seniors aged 55 and above.
• Provide one-on-one support to seniors in understanding and using technology such as smartphones, tablets, and computers.
• Collaborate with team members to develop educational materials and resources.
• Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.

What we are looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and enthusiasm for working with seniors.
• Basic understanding of technology and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms.
• Previous experience in a volunteer or teaching role is a plus (optional).
