Ripple Foundation is seeking a Workshop Coordinator to support our weekly virtual writing workshops for students across Canada. This role focuses on coordinating facilitators and ensuring each Saturday workshop runs smoothly.

Ripple Foundation empowers children and youth across Canada through free, engaging programs that foster literacy, creativity, and leadership. From the Kids Write 4 Kids national writing contest to Write It Workshops, the Wave Blog, and the Express Inspire Connect Youth Conference, our initiatives amplify young voices and prepare the next generation for future success. What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate facilitator availability for weekly Saturday workshops
  • Confirm and assign a host at the beginning of each week
  • Ensure the assigned host has proper access to the workshop platform
  • Follow up with facilitators as needed to keep scheduling on track
  • Check in on Saturday morning (via Slack) to ensure facilitators are set and logging in without issues
  • Communicate any updates or changes to the team

What we’re looking for:

  • Organized and reliable, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable communicating with a small team of volunteers
  • Proactive and able to follow up when needed
  • Able to commit to a consistent weekly check-in rhythm

Volunteer Commitment:

  • Approximately 1–2 hours per week
  • Includes a quick check-in on Saturday mornings (workshops run at 1pm or 2pm ET)
  • Minimum 1-year commitment preferred
